A large, open courtyard extends far off to the south, and slightly off to the east and west.  Large iron gates loom directly north, while several buildings surround the courtyard completely.

The smallish building to the west dominates this area of the courtyard.  A small brass plaque is attached to the wall next to the door – it indubitably explains this building’s function.  The courtyard continues in most directions, while the row of pot plants along the west wall frolics with vegetative splendour, interrupted only by the door.

The foyer of the Assassins’ Guild isn’t as impressive as one would have thought.  There is a desk on one side of the room, and a couple of pictures and a few notices adorn the painted walls.  Despite the normality of the area, a strange feeling permeates the room, as if someone is watching from the shadows.  It would probably not be a good idea to step out of line as the Assassins don’t believe in anything as wishy-washy as corporal punishment.

Several groups of people can be seen walking past, quite energetically.  Either this neighbourhood is near one of the busier areas of the city, or people are just in a hurry to get away.

A large, open courtyard extends far off to the south, and slightly off to the east and west.  Large iron gates loom directly north, while several buildings surround the courtyard completely.

The smallish building to the west dominates this area of the courtyard.  A small brass plaque is attached to the wall next to the door – it indubitably explains this building’s function.  The courtyard continues in most directions, while the row of pot plants along the west wall frolics with vegetative splendour, interrupted only by the door.

The foyer of the Assassins’ Guild isn’t as impressive as one would have thought.  There is a desk on one side of the room, and a couple of pictures and a few notices adorn the painted walls.  Despite the normality of the area, a strange feeling permeates the room, as if someone is watching from the shadows.  It would probably not be a good idea to step out of line as the Assassins don’t believe in anything as wishy-washy as corporal punishment.

This is the main reception area for the Guild.  It is here that new members come to enrol in the guild, and where students and housemasters alike come to dispense with all the administrative trivia involved with a large institute of higher learning.  There is a large desk in the southeast corner with a few pot plants around it, and the decor is subdued but very tasteful.

A secretary is sitting in the chair.
A copy of the Assassins’ Guild Charter is prominently displayed on the west wall, a silver plaque is hanging from a wall and a sheet of cheap writing paper is on the floor.

Thick cigar smoke curls through the air of this stately reading room, wafting across the ornate oil paintings that hang on the clover-green walls.  Empty brandy glasses sit on the oaken end-tables.  Several stiff leather armchairs provide a stylish place to recline.  Clearly this room is regularly inhabited by men in cravats.  An important looking sign hangs on the wall.

This is the private Office of Inhumation.  Assassins come here to view the book and accept commissions.  It is a contrast to the rest of the guild, in that the decor is not particularly opulent; this office is all business.  There is a desk in the southwest corner, with a large book prominently displayed upon it.

A matronly woman is sitting behind the desk.
Two small waxed paper packets, a white silk thread and a sheet of cheap writing paper are on the floor.

The assassin suddenly darts a hand out and strikes you on the side of the neck!  Your vision swims and goes grey around the edges.
Before you even know what is happening, you find yourself being dragged away.
You lose consciousness.
